MATH 157 - Introduction to Statistics

3 credit hours - Descriptive and inferential statistics, frequency distributions, measures of central tendency and dispersion, probability and sampling, estimation, hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, linear regression, correlation, and design of experiments. Prerequisite(s): MATH 131 , 144 , 147 , 150 , 154 , or 155 ; or Mathematics ACT minimum subscore of 20, or Mathematics SAT minimum subscore of 444.
