Family and Consumer Sciences Education, B.A. & B.S.


The Family and Consumer Sciences Secondary Education Concentration is designed for students who wish to teach Family and Consumer Sciences in the middle and high schools, and work in the Cooperative Extension Service or related positions.

In addition to the major requirements below, FCS majors with the Seconday Education concentration must complete the general education history sequense (HIST 101 and HIST 102), earn a grade of ‘C’ or higher is all courses applied toward program requirements, and earn a 2.75 or higher graduation GPA.
