Theatre, B.A. & B.S.


The B.A./B.S. in Theatre provides exposure to all areas of the department and prepares students for a variety of career paths, including work in the entertainment industry. However, this degree best serves students interested in a double major, minor or elective courses who intend to graduate in four years without taking extensive additional coursework. All Theatre majors (B.A./B.S.) are expected to actively participate in departmental productions and must maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA to participate in productions that are not class assignments. In addition to the requirements listed below, students must meet all general graduation requirements as listed in the Academic Programs and Policies   section in this bulletin. A minimum of 120 semester hours is required for completion.

General Education and General Electives


Students must also complete the General Education Core requirements to include any specific courses listed below. Students must also complete sufficient general electives to reach 120 or more total semester hours.

Bachelor of Science Requirements


Student pursuing a Bachelor of Science must complete an additional seven semester hours of mathematics and/or science course work beyond the general education requirement.
