Exercise and Nutrition Science, Allied Health, B.S.

The Allied Health concentration is designed for students who wish to pursue a variety of areas related to physical therapy, exercise physiology, cardiovascular rehabilitation, occupational therapy, prosthetics, nursing, pre-medical professions, as well as other health-related fields. The Allied Health concentration has the greatest level of flexibility in terms of coursework, with an option to complete all of the prerequisites necessary to pursue graduate level pursuits in physical therapy and the medical field. Students completing the Allied Health concentration will have an opportunity to complete a professional internship in various allied health-related professions, including clinical opportunities in physical therapy and hospital experience with cardiac rehabilitation. Students should confer with an academic advisor to prepare a plan of study for their selected concentration in Exercise and Nutrition Science.

In addition to the requirements listed below, students must meet all general graduation requirements as listed in the Undergraduate Academic Policies   section in this bulletin. A minimum of 120 semester hours is required for completion.

 

General Education and General Electives


Students must also complete the General Education Core requirements to include any specific courses listed below. Students must also complete sufficient general electives to reach 120 or more total semester hours.
