SOC 240 - Social Problems

3 credit hours - Information Literacy - Concepts and theories used in the sociological study of social problems. Emphasis on the process through which troubling conditions become understood as social problems. Students develop skills of thinking critically about social problems and successfully presenting claims about troubling societal conditions.
