FCS 410 - Convention and Trade Shows

3 credit hours - This course analyzes the growth of the industry and considers the range of conferences and meetings, from small corporate retreats to international conventions. Topics will include the scope of the industry, the role of convention centers, hotel/resort-based facilities, organizations that hold meetings, meeting planning and the role of the professional planner.
