In addition to the General Education curriculum, the B.F.A. degree candidate must:
- complete 18 credit hours in a studio concentration;
- complete ART 320 , and ART 321
- complete ART 420 during the senior year and mount an acceptable exhibition of work; and
- complete a total of at least 79 credit hours in art, with a minimum overall GPA of 2.0.
The eight areas of studio concentration are Ceramics, Drawing, Graphic Design, New Media, Painting, Printmaking, Photography, and Sculpture.

Electives
- ART 300/400 Advanced Drawing (3 credit hours)
- ART 300/400 Art History (6 credit hours)
- ART Electives (6 credit hours)
- ART or Art History Electives (6 credit hours)
Studio Concentration
A studio concentration of 6 courses (18 semester hours) is required in one of the following areas: Ceramics, Drawing, Graphic Design, New Media, Painting, Photography, Printmaking, & Sculpture.
General Education and General Electives
Students must also complete the General Education Core requirements to include any specific courses listed below. Students must also complete sufficient general electives to reach 120 or more total semester hours.
