Art, B.A. & B.S.
The B.A. or B.S. degree in Art requires 46 hours of ART courses. A minor outside the Art Department is encouraged. Up to 15 hours of ART electives may be added to the Art major, for a maximum of 61 hours. In addition to the requirements listed below, students must meet all general graduation requirements as listed in the Undergraduate Academic Policies section in this Bulletin. A minimum of 120 semester hours is required for completion.
General Electives (18-23 hours)
Options:
- Maximum of 15 hours in ART applied to General Electives
- Complete a minor outside the Department of Art
- Complete a second major
- Select courses of interest from across the university
Bachelor of Science Requirements
Students pursuing a Bachelor of Science must complete an additional seven (7) semester hours of mathematics and/or natural science coursework beyond the general education requirement.
