In addition to the requirements listed below, students must meet all general graduation requirements as listed in the Undergraduate Academic Policies section in this Bulletin. A minimum of 122 semester hours is required for completion.
A minimum grade of C is required for all music courses. Students may attempt a course no more than twice to earn a minimum final grade of C.

Applied Studies
Primary instrument study (admission by audition only) (16 credit hours)
Area Studies
- MUS 441 - Orchestration
- MUS 4xx - Literature (choose based on Primary) (2 credit hours)
- MUS 4xx - Pedagogy I, II (choose based on Primary) (3 credit hours)
General Education
The General Education core curriculum, described in the Undergraduate Academic Policies section of this Bulletin, applies to all students pursuing the B.M. in Music-Instrumental Performance with the following exceptions. Students must also complete sufficient general electives to reach 124 or more total semester hours.
