The educational specialist program in Instructional Technology is for those in a variety of fields who wish to learn more about the integration of instructional technology to enhance leadership, teaching, and training in their field. The degree program is open to professionals in any education-related field with an aptitude for technology use and integration (P-16 educational environments as well as those in business training fields).

Program Admission Requirements:

• 3.0 graduating GPA in a master’s degree program from a regionally accredited college or university
• One official transcript from each institution of higher education attended
• Electronic Portfolio demonstrating technical proficiency and expertise
• Completion of a minimum of one-year full-time professional experience in a P-12, higher education, or similar setting and proof of current employment in the related professional field; or, have a minimum of at least three years of full-time professional educational training/experience in a P-12, higher education, or similar setting

Retention and Completion Requirements for the IT/Ed.S.

• Maintain a minimum 3.25 program GPA and a minimum grade of “C” on all coursework
• Successful portfolio review
