Applied Instruction, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, M.Ed.

The College of Education and Human Development offers advanced preparation in applied instruction across varied industries where education and training are integral to client success. This non-certification program will support the advanced preparation of professionals in diverse educational settings.

The core is composed of 18-hours in coursework that covers the following topics:

(1) Community outreach and engagement
(2) Standards-based instructional design
(3) Instructional technology
(4) Client assessment
(5) Program evaluation
(6) Working with diverse populations

This is a 100% online program.

Program Admission Requirements:

Candidates should complete an online admission application, where they will be asked to provide verification of the following:

  • Official transcript(s) from each institution of higher education attended
  • 2.75 undergraduate graduating GPA or 3.0 master’s degree graduating GPA from a regionally accredited college or university
  • One professional letter of recommendation
  • Statement of Purpose

Retention and Completion Requirements:

  • Maintain a 3.25 program GPA
  • Complete all required coursework with a grade of “C” or higher
