ED 407 - Current Trends in Teaching Exceptional and Diverse Learners
2 credit hours This course explores methods and strategies to prepare teacher candidates to teach exceptional and diverse learners in the modern classroom. Methods and strategies include academic, behavioral, and social instructional best practices within the fields of special education, culturally-responsive pedagogy/teaching, and multicultural education. Prerequisite(s): Current admission to the University of Montevallo secondary education program. (Cross-listed with ED 507).
