PSYC 362 - Psychology of Pain


3 credit hours
This course is designed to introduce students to the multifaceted nature of pain perception and why psychology plays an important role in the treatment of pain. Students in this course will become familiar with interpreting and understanding peer-reviewed articles in the field of medicine and psychology, and gain understanding of  the role of psychological factors in different clinical pain syndromes. Prerequisite(s): PSYC 201 , (or 202 ) and BIO 105  (or 107 ).
