COMS 435 - Social Movement Rhetoric 3 credit hours Survey and criticism of the rhetoric of social movements throughout U.S. history: abolition; women’s suffrage, including 2nd Wave Feminism; 20th century civil rights and the contemporary LGBT rights movement. Prerequisite(s): “C” or higher in COMS 101 or 102 , and “C” or higher in ENG 102 or 104 .
