MUS 549 - Advanced Music Methodology 3 credit hours Advanced studies of the rehearsal techniques and repertoire selection appropriate for Pre-K through 12th grade (Instrumental and Choral), organization of programs from beginning levels through high school, budgets and physical facilities, and specialized areas. Student presentations on various common methods including: Orff, Kodály, Dalcroze, Gordon Music Learning Theory, Suzuki Talent Education, Comprehensive Musicianship, Early Childhood Education, and Technology in Education. Advance studies in methods relate to classroom management.
