SOC 415 - Race and the Criminal Justice System 3 credit hours Examination of the role that race and ethnicity play in the defining of crime, social reaction to crime, and the administration of justice and injustice within the workings of the American criminal justice system. An emphasis will be placed upon racial hierarchies and systems of oppression within society. Prerequisite(s): SOC 101 (or 102 ).
