ED 506 - Reaching Every Learner

2 credit hours - This course will introduce graduate students to the historical impact of culture, ethnicity, language, socioeconomic background, gender, ability, and interest levels on student learning. An emphasis on the course is on the examination of personal and professional biases, experiences, values, and beliefs, and the impact of these things on a teacher’s ability to reach students from diverse backgrounds.
