ENG 412 - Studies in Poetry

3 credit hours - Study of the forms and conventions of poetry. May emphasize a poetic kind (the lyric, the dramatic monologue, the elegy), a group of writers (Pope and his circle), a period or culture (contemporary Caribbean poetry), or a recurrent theme (country and city). Prerequisite(s): ENG 300 or equivalent (or consent of instructor).
