ECE 448 - Methods and Materials for Teaching Science

3 credit hours - This course addresses developmentally appropriate practices and instructional strategies for demonstrating the knowledge of, proficiency with, and the ability to effectively deliver lessons that address scientific and engineering practices, crosscutting concepts, and disciplinary core ideas identified for early childhood students in Alabama and content standards designated for each grade (P-3). Admission to the Teacher Education Program. Prerequisite(s): ECE 446. Prerequisite(s) with concurrency allowed: ECE 411. Co-requisite(s): ECE 445, ED 447.
