NURS 325 - Clinical Informatics & Basic Skills 3 credit - This course is designed to provide an overview of the fundamental concepts related to the role and functions of nursing and healthcare information systems. Content includes the standards, technical components, and challenges of nursing informatics with a focus on nursing application of information and computer technology for documentation, communication, research, patient education and professional development. Class: 2 semester hours didactic; Lab: 1 semester hour lab (48 hours lab). Grade of ‘C’ or higher in all courses. Admitted in the Nursing Program. Prerequisite(s): NURS 220 and BIO 300 . Co-requisite(s): NURS 320 , NURS 321 , NURS 322 . Course Fee $ 100.00
