NURS 450 - Professional Practice Seminar I 3 credit hours - This course focuses on synthesis of theories, concepts, and practices taught throughout the curriculum. The primary goals of this course are to prepare the student for the successful completion of the designated exit exam given at the end of NURS 480, and to prepare the student for the successful completion of the National Council Licensure Examination (NCIEX) to be taken after graduation. Emphasis is placed on assessment of the student’s ability to solve problems through critical analysis. Class: 3 semester hours didactic; Clinical: 0 semester hours clinical/ lab) Grade of ‘C’ or higher in all courses. Admission to the Nursing Program. Prerequisite(s): NURS 350 and NURS 360 . Co-requisite(s): NURS 420 and NURS 430 .
