NURS 430 - Population-based Community Health Nursing


5 credit hours - Concepts inherent in the delivery of nursing care for groups, aggregates and populations in the global community and their application. Emphasis will be placed on the nursing process, application of critical thinking, collaboration, and information technology in caring for aggregates, groups, and populations. The student will care for clients across the lifespan in diverse rural and urban community settings. Class: 3 semester hours didactic; Clinical: 2 semester hours clinical [96 hours clinical]. Grade of ‘C’ or higher in all courses.  Admission to the Nursing Program Prerequisite(s): Nursing BSN: NURS 320 NURS 330  and NURS 340 ; RN to BSN: NURS 401 NURS 425 .  Co-requisite(s): Nursing BSN: NURS 360 .  Course Fee $ 200.00
