AAS 400 - Interdisciplinary Research Methods in African American Studies 3 credit hours - This course will instruct students in the various methods of researching the African American experience. Students will examine theoretical and conceptual issues, techniques for identifying existing research, and sources and methods of social research and data collection. They will navigate research problems; locate, select, and critique relevant literature; analyze data, and draft reports of their findings. Topics will vary. Junior standing and above.
