HIST 455 - The French Revolution and the Napoleonic Era, 1789-1815

Origin of the French Revolution in the institutions of the old regime and the ideas of the Enlightenment. The course of revolutionary events in France and their impact throughout Europe. Emphasis on Napoleon. Prerequisite(s): HIST 101  and HIST 102 .
