A survey of British and American literature from 1660 to 1865, with emphasis on major trends, influential writers, and the transatlantic dialogue that emerged following the American Revolution. Prerequisite/Co-requisite(s): ENG 300, although students may petition to take ENG 300 as a corequisite. Required of all English majors.
