ENG 456 - The Writing Process: Theories and Practices 3 credit hours This course explores and synthesizes theories and practices related to writers’ processes and the teaching of writers. In addition to providing a foundation upon which students may develop strategies for improvising as writers, the course also will foster the kinds of skills needed for successfully assigning, analyzing, and responding to the writing of others. Prerequisite(s): ENG 101 , ENG 102 , ENG 231 , and ENG 232 or equivalents.
