Applied Instruction Curriculum Outline
The Applied Instruction Master’s Degree is for those who desire advanced preparation in instructional areas across varied industries including K-12 education and those working in other applied educational settings such as STE2AM for Early Learners, Language and Literacy, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Educational Psychology and Research, and Exercise and Nutrition Science. This program integrates research and current trends into the practical aspects of education including instructional and program design and evaluation, stakeholder assessment and work with diverse populations. This is a non-certification program.
All coursework must be completed with a minimum overall GPA of 3.25.
Admissions Requirements
- A completed application available at montevallo.edu/admissions-aid/applying
- An official transcript from each institution of higher education attended
- 2.75 undergraduate graduating GPA or 3.0 master’s degree graduating GPA from a regionally accredited college or university
