A BFA in Theatre with a concentration in Design/Technology offers students focused, hands-on skills training in the production and design elements of Theatre balanced with compositional theory and aesthetic history explored through assignments in collaborative creative problem solving. By following our Theatre Curriculum, students will learn the foundational skills to pursue a career in any aspect of Design, Stage Management and Technical Theatre while having the opportunity to develop a focused portfolio in a specific design area under Faculty mentorship and advisement.
In addition to the BFA course requirements listed below, students must meet all general graduation requirements as listed in the Undergraduate Academic Policies section in this Bulletin. A minimum of 121 semester hours is required for completion.
