A BFA in Theatre with a concentration in Acting offers students focused, hands-on skills training with exposure to a variety of acting styles. By following our Theatre Curriculum, students will learn foundational Stanislavski based acting techniques as well as training in movement, voice, musical theatre and acting on camera. Students receive a great deal of audition and career coaching from faculty and guest artists and are well-prepared to work in a variety of entertainment mediums.
In addition to the BFA. course requirements listed below, students must meet all general graduation requirements as listed in the Undergraduate Academic Policies section in this Bulletin. A minimum of 121 semester hours is required for completion.

General Education and General Electives
Students must also complete the General Education Core requirements to include any specific courses listed below. Students must also complete sufficient general electives to reach 121 or more total semester hours.
