• 12 credit hours of MATH electives at the 300 level or above

• 3 credit hours of MATH electives at the 400 level

• MATH 484 - Directed Reading in Mathematics
• MATH 485 - Senior Seminar

Additional Requirements (8-12 credit hours)

Students must complete one of the following options:

• 8 credit hours at the 200-level or above in ONE of the following: Biology, Chemistry, or Physics; *
  or
• PHIL 250  and 9 hours taken from PHIL 110 , 180 , 220 , 280 , 290 , 300 , 330  or 440 .

*Students who complete the science option will fulfill one of the two lab sciences required in general education core.

Students must also complete the General Education Core requirements to include any specific courses listed below. Students must also complete sufficient general electives to reach 120 or more total semester hours.

Bachelor of Arts Requirements

Students pursuing the Bachelor of Art degree must successfully complete either the second-year sequence of a ASL, FRN, GER or SPN or the first year course sequence in two different languages. Alternative options, including a placement exam, are listed in the Bachelor of Arts requirements in the Undergraduate Academic Policies  section of this Bulletin.
