The African American Studies minor consists of 18 credit hours and offers students the opportunity to acquire a greater understanding of the history, cultural development, and social construction of Black America. Electives will be approved by the academic advisor in consultation with the African American Studies Committee as needed. Student must earn a minor GPA of 2.0 or above.
