PHIL 410 - Epistemology 3 credit hours An introduction to the problems and methods of modern epistemology, with a survey of various answers to such central questions as “What is it to know something?,” “What is the nature of truth?,” and “What is it about some beliefs that makes them more highly justified than others?” Prerequisite(s): Any 200-level PHIL course or equivalent (or consent of instructor).
