SPN 343 - U.S. Latino Culture and Civilization 3 credit hours This course introduces students to the main historical events, social movements, artistic currents, and philosophical vogues from the beginnings of U.S. Latino culture to the present. The cultural history of U.S. Latino culture will be considered within a national and international context. Some attention may be given to the rise and development of Latino communities in Alabama. Prerequisite(s): SPN 301 , 302 , or 303 , (or consent of instructor).
