PSYC 202 - Honors Foundations in Psychology 3 credit hours General Education Course This course will serve as an introduction to the scientific field of psychology, surveying various approaches and theories to understanding human thought, emotion and behavior. The honors section of this course will provide greater depth and breadth into psychological and scientific concepts, with greater emphasis on application of critical thought with respect to literature in the field. This course will also require students to apply concepts learned to solve real-world problems in the area of psychology. Recommended for sophomores. Enrollment in the UM Honors Program required. A student may not receive credit for both PSYC 201 and 202.
