NURS 424 - Quality Management and Safety in Nursing

3 credit hours - Provides students with essential content on quality and safety to aid in the development of competencies applied to their nursing roles and work environment safety. Emphasis will be placed on exploring and analyzing the role of the nurse as it relates to monitoring outcomes of care processes and the methods used to continuously improve quality management and safety for systems effectiveness and healthcare outcomes. Prerequisite(s): NURS 430. Co-requisite(s): NURS 470.
