MUS 316 - Marching Band Methods 1 credit hour An introduction to the organization and instruction of marching bands for the prospective secondary instrumental music educator. Topics include: street and field marching styles and techniques, rehearsal organization, show design, music selection and arranging, drill charting techniques, and the development of auxiliary units. This course requires additional observation and/or practicum experiences in P-12 schools.
