MATH 150 - Pre-Calculus Algebra and Trigonometry 4 credit hours - General Education - The algebra of polynomial, rational, exponential, and logarithmic functions, systems of equations and inequalities, quadratic inequalities, and the binomial theorem. Trigonometric functions (circular), inverse trigonometric functions along with identities and trigonometric equations, vectors, complex numbers, DeMoivre’s Theorem, and polar coordinates. Prerequisite(s): MATH 131 OR 144 OR 147 OR ACT Mathematics subscore of 20 or higher OR SAT Mathematics subscore of 444 or higher or grade of B or higher in Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, or Calculus on high school transcript OR by departmental placement exam.
