NURS 323 - Evidence Based Nursing Research 3 credit hours - This course continues to build on the introductory concepts of evidence-based nursing practice from earlier courses. Students will examine all aspects of the research process as it relates to the baccalaureate nurse’s role in research. The focus will be on the identification of practice issues, appraisal, and integration of evidence, evaluation of patient outcomes and sharing best practices to improve patient and organizational outcomes. Class: 3 hours didactic; Clinical: 0 semester hours clinical/lab. Grade of ‘C’ or higher in all courses. Admission to the Nursing Program. Prerequisite(s): NURS 320 , NURS 321 , NURS 322 and NURS 325 . Co-requisite(s): NURS 330 and NURS 340 .
