HIST 102 - History of World Civilizations II

3 credit hours - Major civilizations of the world, their institutions and basic characteristics since the 1500s. Civilizations covered include Indian, Chinese, Japanese, African, North and South American, and European. HIST 101 and 102 are prerequisites for all other history courses. Exceptions are made only when a student has fulfilled the freshman history requirement at another institution, where the requirement is HIST 211 - 212. A student may not receive credit for both HIST 102 and 104.
