WL 303 - Origin and History of Language

3 credit hours - The general aim of this course is to give students a broadly-based foundation in comparative historical linguistics, with particular emphasis on the development of Romance and Germanic languages and their similarities and/or differences. Taught in English. Prerequisite(s): FRN 101, 150, GER 101, SPN 101, 103, 150, equivalent, or consent of instructor.
