PHIL 270 - Philosophy of the Nineteenth Century

3 credit hours - An examination of the leading philosophers of the 19th century, including: Kant, Hegel, Marx, Nietzsche and Kierkegaard. Particular attention on issues of epistemology, ethics, and philosophy of religion, as well as to the influence such figures continue to have on the philosophical and cultural landscape of the 20th century. Readings from the primary sources.
