QM 363 - Operations Management

3 credit hours - This course outlines and reviews methods and algorithms to design and improve systems that provide products and services. Concepts of sustainable operations and supply chain strategy, design of products and services, capacity management, logistics of operations, quality control, and project management are discussed. The role of operations management in local and global economies is covered, including the issues surrounding global sourcing. Prerequisite(s): QM 238 and MG 361.
