BIO 201 - Human Anatomy and Physiology I 4 credit hours - Three lectures. One two-hour laboratory. Human Anatomy and Physiology I is the first of a two-semester sequence that covers the structure and function of the human body. Included is an orientation to the human body, homeostasis, tissues of the human body, the integumentary system, skeletal system, muscle, nervous system, senses, and endocrine system. This course does not count for credit toward the Biology major or minor. For non-majors and non-minors, this course does not count toward the General Education science requirements, but it can count toward additional science hours required to earn the B.S. Open to students in the following majors: Biology and Exercise & Nutrition Science. Prerequisite(s): BIO 105 (or 107 ).
