DATA 350 - Database and Applications Security


3 credit hours - Aspects of information security will be addressed. Topics include security implications of databases, telecommunication systems, risk assessment, security policies, remote connections, authentication and prevention systems, foundations of cryptography, physical security issues, and appropriate countermeasures.  Prerequisite(s): DATA 171 DATA 245 , DATA 246  and DATA 348 .
