CSD 539 - Augmentative and Alternative Communication

2 credit hours - This course addresses principles and best practices for implementation of an AAC system for users with complex communication needs and their families. Using a practical “hands on” approach, emphasis will be given to a participation-based model of service delivery, including team-based assessment and evidence-based intervention approaches.
