ED 500 - Standards-Based Instruction for Diverse Populations

3 credit hour - This course prepares participants to thoroughly examine personal and professional biases, experiences, values/beliefs, and their impact on diverse communities. Participants analyze professional and discipline-specific standards in their selected areas and align practice to become reflective, caring, and competent professionals. They will explore the historical impact of ability, culture, ethnicity, gender identity, language, race, religion, and socioeconomic status.
