In addition to the requirements listed below, students must meet all general graduation requirements as listed in the Undergraduate Academic Policies section in this Bulletin. A minimum of 120 semester hours is required for completion.
A minimum grade of C is required for all music courses. Students may attempt a course no more than twice to earn a minimum final grade of C. Students may appeal for a third attempt to earn a final grade of C.

Applied Studies
Primary Vocal Study (admission by audition only) (16 credit hours)
General Education
The General Education core curriculum, described in the Undergraduate Academic Policies section of this Bulletin, applies to all students pursuing the B.M. in Music-Instrumental Performance with the following exceptions. Students must also complete sufficient general electives to reach 123 or more total semester hours.
- Humanities & Fine Arts: MUS 211 and MUS 342
- Foreign Language: Two semesters are required for Voice Performance majors
- Personal Development: MUS 228
