Early Childhood Education B.S.

Completion of a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education meets requirements for an Alabama Class B certificate. Study for a B.A. instead of a B.S. degree requires a conference with an advisor. A traditional minor is not required.
In addition to the requirements listed below, a student must meet all general graduation requirements listed in the Undergraduate Academic Policies section in this Bulletin. A minimum of 121 semester hours is required for completion.

These courses assist to fulfill the requirements for a Bachelor of Science degree.
General Electives
Students must also complete the General Education Core requirements to include any specific courses listed below. Students must also complete sufficient general electives to reach 120 or more total semester hours.

Bachelor of Science Requirements
Students pursuing a Bachelor of Science must complete an additional seven (7) semester hours of mathematics and/or natural science course work beyond the general education requirement.
