MATH 247 - Introduction to Discrete Mathematics

3 credit hours - Introduction to proof through various topics in discrete mathematics, including the study of sets, logic, valid and invalid arguments, techniques of proof, relations, functions, elementary number theory, and mathematical induction. Prerequisite(s): MATH 170  with a grade of C or better.
